The Way We WerePat has been making crafts for over 30 years. As the business name implies, The Way we Were, Pat started out dealing in antique lace and linen and vintage fabrics, recycling them into cushions etc. Pat and her husband Tom travelled all over the country selling at all the major craft shows thus building a large clientele. Having now given up the travelling scene, Pat has been at the Art & Craft Centre for several years and has found it an excellent base to display her crafts and for her customers to visit and shop in pleasant surroundings.
Pat's range now includes home accessories, lamps and small pieces of hand painted furniture together with ecologically friendly soy candles which she presents in beautiful vintage china items. Always on the lookout for something new to make, Pat has taken to Harris Tweed fabrics and makes bags, hip flasks and spectacle cases out of this beautiful fabric.
New to The Way we Were is a range of bedding including luxurious Egyptian 400 thread count sheets and pillowcases and 100% cotton duvet sets.
